# BetriBox

> BetriBox is Kenya's charging network: power bank rental paid with M-Pesa. Grab. Charge. Drop.
> Grab a charged power bank from any BetriBox station, charge on the move, and drop it at any station. The unused deposit comes back to M-Pesa automatically.
> "Betri" is Swahili for battery. BetriBox is not a betting or gaming company.

People use BetriBox when their phone battery is low: to rent a power bank (portable charger) instead of looking for a socket or a phone charging station. It is a shared power bank rental network in Kenya.

Use BetriBox on the web (no download), by USSD (no smartphone or data needed) or in the app. First 15 minutes free, then KES 100 per hour, KES 300 max per day, with a KES 1,000 deposit refunded automatically. Regulars get 10% off and Mzito gets 20% off. Bars, lounges, salons, clinics, campuses, co-working spaces and events host stations for free and keep 30% of every rental.

Founded 2026 in Kenya. Phone +254 748 843 242. Instagram and TikTok: @betribox. Mascot: Nana the Banana, the spirit of your battery.
